Can we get hunt points for doing fates

They could give us Mark Bills that require FATEs again... I'd rather they not, though...

I'd honestly much rather see them work on a Levequest/Zeni NM hybrid as an alternative way to do Hunts... I'll simply never bother to do Hunts in their current form, I don't like wandering around fairly aimlessly and I don't like waiting for someones grandmas cat to get there before pulling... I'd much rather grab a group of friends and just go spawn Hunt mob to kill... A properly done pop system (Zeni NMs) can limit our ability to spawn the same target over and over, and that's perhaps the only issue I can see with force pops...

Nah it would have to be all the zones in the game. Those fates are only limited to just 3 zones. They would get done if the Centro Light Was on in that zone. All the fates in that zone would get attention. Would make it easier for relic quest players or people working on more then one relic. (Which is crazy for people that are doing more then one already) Fates in the done would spawn faster also because there would be more people in that zone doing them. You would get allied seals if you were lv50+ doing them in ARR zone and you would get allied seals for heavensward zones at lv60 and only players doing fates in centro light areas would get centro.

I'm sure players are making a profit still with buying potash from the grand company. Seals are useless until they make another rank.
Little shocked they didn't by now and add in some lv55 & 60 grand company catch up gear.

1) Mats are still useful for a lot of people; venture coins are still useful for a lot of people (sending your retainers out for crafting mats, minions, "gambeling" with quick ventures)
2) No, I dont actually :) As long as they're thought through carefully ;) you're hopping from "Fates should give seals!" to "Let us have a whole new quest-chain!"

I actually kinda do like your idea of a quest, sounds like a fun thing to do - but I dont understand why it has to be related to hunts? (...and why do you get a minion after doing one quest?) What do you need those seals for so despartely that you need to have them added to stuff thats totally not hunt related?

Also: New players dont want to get to HW quickly to play with other people in general but either to play the new jobs or to play with their friends who dragged them into the game and now discover that they cant really play together for quite a while. Leveling up really isnt a problem with all the quests and the buffed exp-rewards from dungeons (I leveled up my first class in 2.0 and it was perfectly doable without looking at fates)

The problem with hunts is largely the contribution calculation. On the larger hunts with tons of parties there, the contribution value required for full credit is often well above what a solo player can do in the time the hunt goes from full health to dead, thus making partying up a necessity to even make fighting the target worth doing at all. This isn't an issue for dedicated hunters who have linkshells and travel in groups from the getgo, but for players who are in the zone doing regular activities, see a hunt in /shout, and proceed to go there, it can be a case of not finding an open party in party finder or creating one and not having enough people join up in time for credit. I think adding hunt seals to FATEs would be wholly unnecessary if hunts were less terrible about rewarding credit for solo players who contributed just as much as a player in a party.

I won't lie, hunts are pretty much dead and despised, especially in my server where there was a constant war over early pullers and whatnot.

I don't FULLY agree on making hunt points from fates...but since both are kind of dead I don't see why not.

That and increasing the exp from FATEs: 40-50k exp is nothing when you need over 3m exp!

Trade in GC seals for Allied Seals. Make it happen. Bing bada boom. 50k for 100 or whatever other lame number.

Also there are two ways to read this thread:

"I don't wanna do that but give me the shinies anyway cause I pay a sub so I deserve it anyway"

and/or

"I have an idea, lets further reduce the already severely lacking amount of content this game has by making yet another thing redundant because I don't wanna do it."

Hunts need a revamp, true, but taking the awards away from them is not the way to do it.

Seals from fates are used for various items. The thing is hunts should die down due to more people completing 240 gear on their main. If anything I would prefer them do centurio seals bonuses on leveling roulette or other roulettes to help new players. Then cycle the roulette seals bonus depending on how far you are in the game( 2.0, 3.0, or 4.0). But dont put it in a fate grind

If you think seals are useless could you maybe spend yours and buy me some cordials please?
