I know that's why I said I do not see there being any problem if only have one character with the basic 2 retainer setup. I just said for me personally it is too expensive. My situation is not the same as the OP's but venture token cost is a problem for me in my situation.

I think SE can't really lower the cost for tokens just because of my situation aka people with more retainers than the basic amount as it would lead to an unfair advantage vs those with less retainers especially since it is balanced for the typical setup of one character with the 2 free retainers. However I do think SE could help me out a bit by lowering the cost of crafting materials from GC's for everyone which wouldn't really give anyone an advantage over others regardless of how many retainers own. If they cannot do that then maybe lowering the quantity of GC bought materials needed in high end crafting which would free up some more seals I can put towards my retainers.

Maybe but that will be on their conscience not mine. I do not feel comfortable personally rolling need on things I plan to use only to exchange for seals in case others might need it.

You can craft cheap green items and turn them in for seals. I have two charaters and 16 total retainers... By just crafting greens item for GC seals i was able to send them all out for ventures. Btw i have roughly 2000 plus venture on each charater from crafting greens gears for turn in and needing/greed everything in dungeon drop.

But you seem to actually need it.

Well even though I need the seals, it's not on the same level as someone who may need the gear for leveling. The seals will just be used for crafting materials, airship ventures and retainers. The retainers only purpose for being sent out now for myself is bringing back things to make gil. So that's why I only roll greed, if someone needs them for leveling I would rather they have it even if deprives myself of a lesser need.

Your need for ventures is just as valid as their need for leveling gear, everyone has the same chance to win the roll. If you need the item for whatever purpose then need on it.

Wait, why TF are you spending centurio on ventures? Should be buying books to trade in for Gobtwines and Gobcoats.

I'll throw my 2 gil in as someone who usualy does roll need on gear for seals (in EX and 60, I find anything less than Nevereap/Fractal pointless to ninjaloot for seals, especially if people need them for leveling). The way the game works if that dungeosn becaion overpowered becuase there is always gonna be a tighter challenge (Raids) and at least 2 gearsetls powerful enought for players to teckle saud content. As a result anyone who seriously raids or at least wants to be ahead of the curve for the rest of the content, would get the weekly capped tomestone gear.

As a result the dungeon gear from capped levels are useless for most players except for the seals. Anyone who needs them for their ilevel increase could just as easily grind tomestones with only a minimal difference. Chances are if they are in a mix of Lore and Midan gear, then they don't need the gear for its intended purpose, but instead for seals or gearing retainers (which is essentially the same as just grabbing ventures).

Leveling is a differently story, as OP points out people still need that gear until they reach 60, at that point, they have other ways to increase their iLevel. Leveling alts is another case, but, again, eso gear is just as good, especially considering that they are unlikely to raid on their alts

Have you checked the Vath Beast tribe npc? i think u can trade a token for like 70 ventures and you can get 3 tokens a day
