Can any of you seriously sit here and tell me that the Lalafell jump, no matter how much in development it is, looks good in any way, shape or form. It defies the realistic physics existing in the game.

You all cry for "more platforming elements." You want "freedom of character." Well according to you, there's plenty of other MMOs that have this feature out there, why not play them instead of pushing your ideas of a "perfect MMO needs jump" on everyone else?

You're talking about a world where you teleport directly to the ground whenever you fall off of something. Eorzea has no physics.

I have a right to express my opinion of features I like and dislike. I'm encouraged by the devs themselves to give my feedback, which I try to keep constructive, for issues I have with the game.

Said to be early development and won't be out til 2.0.. that's a long ways away and gives them a lot of time to tweek it. I don't care anyways, always been a fan of jump. If you don't like it, there is nothing you can do about it. They are developing the zones around it and they will not be back tracking their progress for a minority of barbaric era MMO players who don't care for it.

I would be fine with a better looking jump. >_<

Let's turn this into something more civil so that hopefully Yoshi and the devs will see this.

Why do people feel that jump is a needed feature, to "keep up with modern MMOs?"
