It's funny, I chose Koi no Yokushiryoku (Love Deterrence) as my theme for DRK. Just fits my DRK perfectly.

Eh the thing with the 30-50 arc to me is more we get to see what the WoL feels for the first time and it's the mere awareness they are just being used. The darker part of the WoL just wants a release from that duty and even urges the WoL that they can still be free of it, even deeper it just wants the WoL to not do as bid but to make their own decisions and avoid unneeded suffering. The darker side likely came about after the escape from Ul'dah which likely tore the harmony that the WoL had with himself/herself and allowed the darker side to split and come about. After all a myriad of deeds were only possible using the WoL as a crutch.
It's inspired by BERSERK with Guts and the Hellhound but a bit lighter. I always get strong feelings whenever I replay the scene with the whole "It's not too late...we can still be free..." speech.
