I wanted to buy the plush too and the shipping to germany is 20 euro! Why??

I never get physical stuff from the SQEX store because of the outrageous shipping prices. $25 to ship a collector's edition via 'standard' shipping. I pay that much to ship stuff from Japan.

Yeah, I would have bought a lot of stuff from the store if not for the shipping cost practically doubling the price.

Perhaps they are adding the customs/import/export fees and instead of reflecting it in the base price they add it to the shipping price instead. The difference in shipping prices makes me think it's customs related if the merchandise is shipped from Japan or something for distribution. The amount of added fees would then be based on the country you are in and any trade agreements.

For comparison, to NYC from US store is about $8. Ottawa, Canada is about $12. (before CAD conversion)
