That's actually an elemental though, the same elementals that exist in the Black Shroud and which maintain a compact with the mortals of Gridania. In 1.0 they were actual enemies that roamed the forest (and the player even had to fight one as a boss during the 1.0 Gridanian storyline) but now in ARR that form has been mostly replaced with generic FFXI-style 'sprites' and the actual fairy-like elemental only has physically (so far) shown up in a single CNJ class quest battle, as shown:

That was at least until the anima weapon quest. So yeah even that form is already in the game as something else.
And as Cana and ADVSS stated, anima is already in the game as a term to describe the body's tolerance to teleportation. In 1.0 this was used as the 'currency' for teleporting, which has been replaced by a gil tax and the 'anima tolerance' handwaved away that because the player's character has the Echo and Blessing of Light they therefore have considerably more tolerance to teleporting than others and thus can teleport over and over again with no apparent ill effect, but it is still mentioned by the gate guards near the aetherytes in each main city. So this use of the word 'anima' is still canon to the story as well.
Hence I'm afriad you simply will not see Anima as a Primal or summon in the game, none the less because I recall I while ago hearing that the development team were apparently wishing to actually move away from the Primals as an important story element, so I think we will begin to see less and less new Primals added, making a Primal version of Anima seem even less likely, I'm sorry.
