Step 1: Buy 2 Dragon skin treasure maps from the market board.
Step 2: Create (or join) a party in the party finder.
- Loot rules are as follow, owner needs any items they want. The rest of the group greed's anything not gear (they pass on gear). :Owner might only be able to greed gear so everyone passes instead.
- Mandatory 2 maps per person (two runs total), no free loaders.
Step 3: Repeat steps 1 and 2
Disclaimer: Do not use treasure maps with only 4 people. The odds of loosing money are much higher. Minimum of 5 players, up to 8.
At 8 players with 2 maps each. That's 16 chances of getting to room 7. Completion of room 7 is 100k awarded to everyone in the party (plus owner gets all of the items in the chest).

Method 2
Stel 1: When you see an RMT bot, target and send them a /tell.
Step 2: Copy pasta there name in the lodestone player search.
Step 3: Examine what gear they're wearing. (Make sure they're level 50)
Step 4: See how much said item is selling for on the MB (probably sells for 30-75k per item).
Note: They typically seem to buy 30+ of every item on the right side + the main weapon from the MB. They do not care about price, nor quality rating(they buy whatever is at the top of the list). Every 3 days 30ish sell x 30k a pop (worse case). Then take that times 5 (Total accessories) then add the weapon. And you're looking at like 5.4 mil potential every few days. (Top crafting FC's usually keep that info on the down-low; and why people get max gil on accounts through crafting; they figure out what the RMT's buy and regulate those items. And crash the market if people try to enter said market).

At times, this item will drop down to 12,000 each and I leave mine alone. Within 1-2 weeks, the price can actually fluctuate back up to 20,000 (I've seen as high as 22,000). The HQ version can sell anywhere between 25,000 - 55,000 depending on demand so I typically set it at 35,000 and it sells at a decent rate. The best part is that this is a low 50's craft that requires nothing special to create it.
Another alternative that a few people in my FC still use (I did this at HW launch since it required no work) is to find things that vendors sell for cheap that you can mark up 3-4 times their price. Many people are lazy and have more gil than they know what to do with and thus will just dish it out as a matter of convenience. I know when Orchestration rolls were first released, someone was buying the vendor bought ones (can't remember the price, maybe 5k or 15k gil) and were reselling on the MB for 75k-90k each. During HW launch, I was able to purchase weapons off vendors for 25-35k and resold for 150k+ for the first 3-4 weeks of the launch. In fact, I was making so much gil during that time, that I leveled a few of my DoH by purchasing from vendors to turn in NQ for leves and then sold any extra items I had and came out making more on the left overs being sold on the MB than I paid for the initial quantity I purchased to turn in for leves.

I just realized Savage Aim and Might materias sell for 250k so I'll just run Weeping City once a week to make 250k per week.

Well, if you haven't done any gathering, then gathering retainers aren't going to be as helpful.
You could use hunting retainers to gather base crafting items, those are nearly always in demand.
Another tip, if you sell in smaller stacks, you can charge a higher price, as some people don't want or need to purchase an entire 99 stack of an item and will pay more per item, just so they don't have to have as much extra.
