I think Balmungs numbers were, out of the 700+ plots available, only about 156 of them went to FCs.

And it's the only way my FC can get any plot now... regardless of how it's viewed. Remember, auto demolition was suspended again.

Perhaps the way to completely remove house resale is to have a hidden random cooldown before a relinquished houseplot comes up for sale again?

When you relinquish a plot, the plot goes into a hidden random cooldown that could be a long as 2-3 days. The plot will become available for purchase after the cooldown and advertised as so. This way it is impossible for any seller to guarantee that the buyer will indeed get to buy the plot, as someone else may just come by and grab the plot.

This will leave the only sure way to transfer a plot to be as a FC housing and transferring the whole FC. But I guess there's no way around that...

While I sympathize, and I certainly have no love for the housing problems, people that are willing to buy homes from other players are helping create this problem by showing there's a market for this sort of transaction, and that encourages would-be sellers to participate in it.

Rules are rules.. we're all supposed to be playing by the same ones, right? They shouldn't just get tossed out the window whenever someone decides they're justified in doing so. Think of all the nonsense that wacky logic could apply to.

I haven't reported buyers, but I have reported sellers in chat and PF.

Nope, but you would be able to eat your popcorn because the forums would only full QQQing about the limitations of the housing system. Not the outright greed and exploitation that currently exists.

Glad I found this...now I have a chance to report some of the jerks who stole my housing dreams.

Those people who used multiple accounts to buy up huge tracts of land just with the intent to resell them...

They should have all the associated acccounts banned, and all those plots removed from them.

Can someone please provide me with a source of where it states that it is illegal to buy or sell a plot between players? Thanks.
