"GG. We lose."

To be honest there are names familiar to me when I get matched with them, I think to myself that "this most likely won't go well" or I may say something on my discord, etc...but I don't say it during the match- that's just terrible morale for the team overall.

I may not care for that particular player but I will still try my hardest in that match to win >.<

If people just stop trying in the middle of the match, I tend to report them and every time I've had a GM respond to me within 15 minutes.

My team did this the other day when he got matched with knives and a few other notable names. It sucks when you want to "never give up, never surrender" ,and everyone else is like "Whelp we tried" after they all die the first time.

I've pointed out Knives a handful of times, but only because he was the biggest threat on the team at the time, which is why we took him down first, then picked off the rest, lol. There's also a pattern too. If there's only one competent player on the opposing side that's giving orders, when you take them out, the team's structure falls apart (even if it's only for a moment), giving you time to take down the others.

You're right synergy is key , and having it is so random in solo. Still even losing is fun unless you are victimized by feeding or the like.

Losing usually isn't a problem for me, it's how I lose which bothers me the most. If the other team is flat out better than us and just bests us despite everyone doing everything they can, that's an easier pill to swallow than losing because your DRG couldn't even pull 100k in damage or your healer grabs an offense buff, or someone wastes a LB on a PLD with HG up, etc.

Some of these losses could have been prevented and that's what really bothers me.
