Thank You DPS

The promotion qualifier from bronze to silver will be the thing that kills the Feast. It's sick and twisted. It is absolutely unfair to have your ability to rank into silver be contingent upon rng with df and other player's skill - specifically players who are unranked.

I understand that somebody has to lose, but I'd rather lose knowing it was a good fight and we all did our best. Losing because a new player decides one day to casually "check out" what this Feast thing is all about without even knowing Purify is literally one of the most frustrating things I've ever come across in this game.

I'm not discouraging new players, I'm discouraging unprepared players. We were all new once.

The thing is, it's not even new players that never use purify, hardly anyone besides the people in my pvp linkshell does

If you want to enjoy feast and go for the top then why dont you do light party instead? everyone that has done pvp here before feast should have seen this coming. I hate to say it but FFXIV has worst playerbase skill vise in both PvE and PvP i have ever seen in any MMO before, so if you want to enjoy this game you need friends around your own skill level no matter what group content you do.

hopefully u dont end up with last samurai. drg he comes just to farm and dont care about rank, he goes in and afk after he die

If you are lucky once you get gold you hopefully shouldn't see any more unranked though. Keyword hopefully.

HAHAHA Yeah. After i ran into him i decided to make a shitlist with shitty players.

Just got denied my third promotion to gold attempt. I will quote the WHM at the beginning of the last match *two wins two losses*

"hihi I'm still very new, sorry =("

Proceeds to not use any pvp abilities, team gets wrecked. Promotion denied. Loving your matchmaking system SE, with the brand new players (all 3 on my team for this last match were - rank) being matched with people trying to advance in the top rankings. Loving it.

Match after that, team is dead within 30 seconds. Seriously. SE. Fix your shit, this is a slap in the face to people who enjoy PvP.

let me say something to the tanks:

its not that you are so good, but rather the pvp design is so bad.

Melee lose ALOT of dmg due to positional requirements..and with Auto-Face Target and small reticules this makes things alot harder...1 example is Monk's Dragon Kick which is a must have on your target...150 from flank...100 if not...thats +50% dmg gone. and this is for nearly all the abilities. don't get me started on B4B and it's stupid 25% dmg taken crap.

Casters and ranged have nearly no defensives and are forced to just run around kiting and if they stand still...with 3 people on them..nearly everything will get interrupted...play SMN if you want to see the squishiness in action.

So if any of you are truly skilled players...you wouldn't bother with the easiest job to play if you want to increase your chance at victory..play the hard roles so you wouldn't be in a group with someone who wouldn't know how.
