Character Creation ideas for 4.X

To me, most of it seems a bit impossible. For example, how sliders work. It's a really huge change that would affect all the rest of the armors in the game.
I don't like auras, they're exaggerated and don't really fit FFXIV aesthethic, I can't see any good lore reason for a "crafted aura".
I also wouldn't like to see biracial stuff. I mean, if you want Elezen ears, go and play Elezen. Embrace the race that you're playing. If you can pick a part of something that you like from race x and y, you lose all the immersion and lore that comes with these traits.
As for the rest, I agree. I just think that some of the suggestions don't really account the FFXIV universe and it's limitations as a game.

Also I think they should make changes to the character limit already.. I've seen this happening way too much now.

There are bi-racial characters in the game though, which is, I imagine, a big reason this thread was started. It's even the first thing mentioned in it.

Some of the things suggested are a little silly though. Roe with lala head? Get out.

Why not? I switched to Highlander from Miqo'te simply because I wanted a more taller and built character model with better facial hair options. Had I been able to simply make my Miqo'te more like this I wouldn't have changed.

I actually like the way you've split this up; it makes it easy to like the parts I most agree with.

One thing I'd like to add though, unless changeable in-game, are emote sets. I feel like certain emotes should be multiracial, and the running animations especially should have an extra option. (This has steered me and I fear many others away from even attempting a female midlander Hyur, and though that running style may technically be sufficient or even optimal for an Elezen...)

The hair-parts, each with adjustable lengths, and a few more anti-clipping options would be great as well. Anything more than those are beyond anything I expect SE would ever implement, but if I were to go further, I'd have to say I'd like an extra physique option for each race.
