Yeah I get that. Thats how it is with EVERYTHING now a days. It's why I tend to stay to myself

Had you been on Jenova I know of about 3 FCs looking to merge. Other than that, best of luck trying to get someone to merge with you, it can be like you said, a hit or a miss.

Keep in mind that people can promote other people above their own title, so be very careful who you give those permissions to.

I'd advise against this. First of all, did you even ask your members if they wanted this to happen? And do your members have experience with past merges? Don't want people blindly agreeing with this thinking it's a good idea like I did with my old FC. Second, do not give leadership to another FC's members. Not saying every person is like this, but do not give them any opportunity to buddy up to you just for power. If you have to leave for a long period of time and they're now in charge, your current members may or may not like what this other person has planned.

I was in a position where I was asked if I wanted to merge with another FC since this other group split up for some reason. Of course I agreed to it thinking it was a good idea since we did so much content with this other group. Was going well until our FC leader stopped playing for RL reasons (which is perfectly fine) and passed lead to one of the new people. Things changed and a lot of the original FC members left. I myself left after some time and now that FC is dead to me.

Anyway, I didn't mean to go on some long rant and tell you my story. I just want the best for your FC and don't want it to end up like my old one. Please think things over very carefully for yourself and your members.

Well my FC is pretty dead, I'm almost always the only one logged in :/. I didn't realize people would be so bad when it came to this kind of stuff tbh, so thanks for warning me of the hazards, on DCUO anytime we did League Merges there were never any problems and things went smoothly. I guess I expected the same :(

I would imagine most times FCs merge there are no problems, it's those unfortunate few that make it bad for everyone. Now everyone has to be cautious because you can't trust anyone. :(
