Well, you can't really see a horse among the armor tbh.....and for the sake of argument, let's say that it should not be only available with a system like PvP that is not for everyone.

The Warsteed mount is a nice normal horse, and is a fine alternative to the rainbow horse collection, though it is the only normal horse available... so.
I'd like to see more in the normal variety, too, so "/thumbsup" from me. Honestly, I just want a simple horse with a saddle and that's it, no armour, no big fantasy flowing magical mane or tail... just a plain, regular, everyday horse.
Please?
Speak for yourself. I personally like the ponies we have ingame and I ride them pretty frequently outside of HW content.
You could always get one of the GC mounts from Frontlines if you want a more traditional looking horse.
A couple little things bug me a bit about the horses in ffxiv (and once you notice them you can't unsee them ;)) First the length of their ears, they all have mule ears - which is cute but a bit silly looking. That and their elbows (yes horses have elbows) are oddly low down and should be higher against their bodies.
Sleipnir looks like a fat pony which is kind of cute.
I would like a normal horse for my Xaela.
I don't mind the hair so much (and the mule ears are cute), but I hate the movement of the ponies. :( the movement of the rider/butt of the horse do not at all match what the "real world" movement would be.. From the side it's not so bad, but I cringe at the default from behind look when riding one.
Yeah, horses are amazing.
I'd love to have a regular sized horse mount like mentioned, with no excess stuff aside from the saddle, and then one little one for "cuteness" sake - Like, a Caspian or Hackney for regular size and then a little Shetland for the cute mount.
They kinde seem out of place to me... Sure you can fix the primal ones up to look like horses but having a completely normal horse would just feel like riding a chocobo in, say, skyrim.
I can't stand these flashy horses that throw fire and glow at night. I'd like to see a normal horse too. :c
