1.2 Needs to fix Sentinel, Tanking, and XI Class-ism.

It's not required, but it is indeed very helpful.

Let's apply this logic to someone who doesn't like to play mage classes, like myself.

I want to tank in this game eventually. However, cure/sac III are "required" for that. I hate playing mages classes with a passion. Does this imply that cure and sac III are also broken?

I agree with Jen, it's a playerbase problem not a game mechanic problem. You are always going to have people wanting you to do things the cookiecutter way. There is no way around that besides reverting all the changes, and giving every class the exact same abilities with different names. My recommendation is play with people who won't nitpick you.

As I said in the original post, tanking needs to be fixed to where you don't need those abilities. You should be able to tank sufficiently with one class leveled up.

OK, Ifirit Fight is meant for hardcore(anyone can try it tho), as said by Yoshi. But asking for not requiring sentinel for the fight is like making it available for everyone without a defence build. Players who are up to the challenge will have to have all necessary skilled leveled to make it a bit less harder.

If you don't have these skills, don't try it. The fight is not meant for everyone with a single class at 50.

Stoneskin is plenty to survive Hellfire, not really necessary outside of that. So, while you may get picked on, it isn't really required.

A player who has all classes leveled or even more classes than another player will ALWAYS be able to draw on the extra benefits these extra classes have; thus, they will ALWAYS have the advantage.

It doesn't necessarily make them better, but it certainly gives them an advantage...

No no, I see what your referring to but I think OP is referring to how its mandatory =\ that sucks you know? Sentinel isn't op, having to have it? or having to have other abilities? That sucks.. though having one or two isn't bad, asking for more is just an unnecessary pain.

I wouldn't say that, but I do think they should lower just how many you need @_@ every job over 36? Stupid.

lol @ I was denied several main missions in CoP because I didn't have the right jobs leveled or the right skills. in OP

Get friends didnt matter what jobs you had could do any fight with 1 person not doing anything. after that comment i stoped reading isnt worth anymore of my time
