I do wish the Xaela were a little different from the Raen.

Well, with the way animations work for the game. Why don't each of the subraces have different sets of animations? Its not like it would take that much more space if you adjusted them.

For example.

You could make the animations for Xaela to use the Highlander animations (especially standing idle). Mix them up a bit.
You could make the Duskwight Elezen and Keepers could have a more wild stance. However a lot of their animations could be similar too. I'd imagine Duskwights having more on edge animations whilst Keepers probably would.

Xaela just appear to me the "worst" case because its more recent for one, and it didn't have enough time to really get into Eorzean society. Seeing them just do their animations exactly like a Proper Raen would just makes me feel uneasy. Especially how they stand as well.

I also think their eyes should glow in the dark as well.

I've always wished that Raen were the small and cute ones and Xaela were the tall and intimidating ones. Like the Mid/Highlander split.

Ears, fangs, eyes, and skin tone.
They're fairly different.

It would have been great if the Xaela were portrayed taller and more fearsome or brutal, like the difference between Midlander and Highlander Hyur. I know plenty of people who would have loved that.

Man, i love my femroe but if we ever get Au'ras looking like the ones on the upper left and if theyre very tall ( Roe height ), i'll have to change to one of them.

My ideal Au'ra would have the body shape of female highlanders with the option to be ripped like them ( and uh... same boobs too thx ), the height and rarity of femroes ( my inner hipster is talking here ), Have a mean look on their faces kinda like few of the femroes and highlanders faces and the rest from the concept art. ( the claws those covered eyes etc... )

Please SE, enough super kawaii females races. Au'ras are obviously what they ended up being. i mean look at their emotes some are just ridiculous. Au'as females have no charisma whatsoever.

Also about devs hinting that there could be more tribes, is it relevant for the future ? Or is it unlikely that we would get more Au'ras?

Wish race choices mattered in this game, along with choices of your god.

It's a shame they said fuck concepts and just went Female hyur/Male Elezen with horn ears and tail and were one and done.

The jp audience just can't handle bestial intimidating races apparently.
