Duty Finder Idea- Blocking Certain Dungeons

yes i suppose roulettes are supposed to be random.. doesnt feel very random though when in the last week ive had ravana 4 times and bischmark twice.. and i havent seen battle in the big keep once since the release of heavensward. im not asking for randomness to be removed, but for the odds to be less skewed in the favor of the worst areas (being a tank gets it worse)

It's random in the sense that "Whatever instance needs filling will be filled first". Since Battle in the Big Keep is a sidequest that most aren't doing now, it won't be as frequent vs Bizzy and Ravvy, whose fights are party of the story, thus required.
Sounds like you've just had a few bad runs. Neither of those are hard, even with new people. Maybe if you don't want random, don't sign up for it...

Randomness means randomness. Tampering with it in any way means it's not random anymore.

so 1/12 isnt random, but 1/14 is?

Well yeah.. because you've personally chosen which ones to block out.. which defeats the point of randomness.

hence the 1 or 2 limit, frankly i wouldn't block steps of faith, i like that fight, by far the most "epic" feeling trial of the lot... ok maybe thordan and sephirot come close.

wouldnt be the first time a roulette has some no thank you buttons, another rather popular mmo had the option in its random battleground system and people loved it

Idk, regardless whether it would still be "random" or not, I don't really like the idea. Most people hate the same dungeons, and Mentors aren't there to fill the spots in the dungeons people just don't feel like running. Just my opinion.

People already explained why the roulettes are the way they are. You aren't going to get your bonus while being able to cherry pick what you want to play. Roll with the punches or forego the roulette.
