Who made that rule up? You can still buy the plushies and soundtracks (if SE ever has them in stock).
I agree with Laerune, IF they add a new exclusive item for the next Fan Fest, they could easily add the suit to the Mog Station.

As soon as "this" is added, guess what the next thing will be? "SE ADD THE OLD BONUS ITEMS FROM STUFF YOU AREN'T SELLING ANYMORE BECAUSE i WANTS IT." There was a fair argument when the Lightning Strikes items were asked for. There is a fair argument about the region locked items (provided those aren't paid to obtain also), there might even be an argument for the 7-11 items on the grounds that it's JP only and account locked. However, there isn't any sort of argument for items, like this, that you already had to pay to obtain in the first place.

(Apparently the Chinese items are cash shop items to begin with, so that's fine for both sides of it.)

Yep I'd drop money on this in an instant.
And i've never been a fan of exclusivity. Glad stuff like the lightning gear I subbed specifically for is available now for people who missed it.

Anyone could have gotten this costume through subbing to the stream. On top of that, you were capable of subbing for months after the event and would still get a code.
I see nothing wrong with adding it to the store for the same price as the sub.

Is the channel still open to sub to? Has anyone tried doing a paid sub and seeing if they get the costume still?

I think it's been closed for a year now. Since March of last year unless I'm remembering wrong, at least for the NA stream.

Just make the next stream offer a choice of either a new costume, or the same old moogle one. People with none could buy both, people with the moogle costume can pick up the new one.

I think cash shop ideas are a waste. Keep exclusives "exclusive" but keep the items available the next time an event comes around, either in game or otherwise. Think of how the special items for holiday contests work. Winners can choose the item they want during some events, and none of the items have been completely phased out as rewards. Soundtracks should let you pick which soundtrack minion you want, with a new minion added to the pool each time. Same with artbooks. And it should have remained that way for in-game seasonal event items.

Stop giving SE an excuse to take more money from customers through mogstation. They just waste it on FFXV cutscenes.

It shouldn't be added. It's an exclusive item. It should stay that way for the people who qualified for it at the time.
