Highest level item that can be HQ'd with a single macro?

It is possible to achieve a 100% hq level 60 1 button macro (ignoring poor conditions) with a full i170 crafted set melded with only grade 4 materia or lower. Not saying it's practical as it requires FC buffs & limiting yourself to 414cp but achievable.

Melds needed can be found here: http://ffxiv.ariyala.com/U36H but I doubt anyone will/should do these melds since there are many other rotations for other items which rely on higher cp.

The above is hard to achieve but if you're just trying to achieve the 7100 collectability then the rotation below doesn't require as much stats & for some could be done without food (still 1 button). The below rotation is using nq beet soup.

Stat requirements: 838 Craftsmanship/864 control/405cp

Stats needed before food
Beet Soup hq: 809 Craftsmanship/796 Control/405 CP
Beet Soup nq: 815 Craftsmanship/810 Control/405 CP

Pan-fried Mahi-Mahi hq: 838 craftsmanship/833 Control/405CP
Pan-fried Mahi-Mahi nq: 838 craftsmanship/839 Control/405CP

Dagger Soup hq: 838 craftsmanship/837 Control/405CP
Dagger Soup nq: 838 craftsmanship/842 Control/405CP (Can be bought for 415 gil from an NPC called "Mestonnaux" at "The jeweled Crozier" X:6.3, Y:9.9)

If you are 820 control and need to reach 837 even a low level food should be enough (pan fried mahi mahi NQ is 25 control if I remember right)

Completely agree with you, I love the extra CP myself which is why I said it may be impractical. I just wanted to see if it's possible without using grade 5 materia cause I'm weird like that ^^

I've added a lower stat rotation compared to the one I originally posted. It eliminates that 10% chance of that advanced touch failing in Kakure macro but might not reach the collectibility of 7100 if a poor condition procs at a bad time. (Sorry Kakure, I'm not hating on you or your macro, just explaining why the macro I've added to the post is another viable macro).
