You've already checked with everyone on their capping habits and if they plan to renew? I'm impressed!

I personally loathe the gear treadmill. In the last 6 months (which is how I buy my sub), I've probably capped it less than 10 times. I am BORED out of my mind, but hey, I like to talk to people and it's a habit to log in. Anyway, sub is due soon, although not sure which way I'm going yet.

Considering most of the complaints are here on the forums and you have to have a recently active subscription to post, yes, I can say I have checked. Thanks for the admiration!

And whether you do or don't, the subscription numbers not taking a huge blow in 3.2 and in fact increasing from what I understand pretty much says all that needs to be said about the community's feelings on things.

Oh, it isnt an issue and not worth complaining about untill after i quit. I'll try to keep that in mind. This sounds like a good way to handle PR and keep customers...

On a side note, only reason i have been capping gear is so i can keep doing ex primals and not fall behind. I dont even try to gear more than one class anymore even though id like to. I had a long quit between 2.0 and 3.0 at some point because of this same reason. Ill save my complaints for when and if i quit again from now on. Im sure ill care more about complaining then after being gone. :rolleyes:

Completely agree with you OP.. Not enough endgame stuff.. there's practically nothing to do once you cap your tomes for the week, and then its just a waiting for daily reset for beast quest.. I love this game, I love the world, the story, the npcs.. but the lack of stuff to do really gets to me.. If it wasnt for the new content patches to remind me why I stay around.. I don't think I'd still be here..

More complaints on a forum...shocker.. Of course im not gonna join a df group and say "man Im really tired of this endgame"..Almost like the forums is a place you give feedback on the game..crazy right?

That's pretty much exactly the point.
There's limited amount of stuff to do, in a completely vertical progression path. The only way to somewhat mitigate this is by placing limits on what a player can earn.
This isn't XI where certain content lasts forever and ever. I would love it if that were the case, but sadly, that probably wouldn't go over well with the large amount of silent casuals that probably don't even know the Lodestone exists.

Also, let me add, thanks for your first post on the lodestone! I'm glad you take issue with this seriously enough to actually speak up.
Hopefully more will do so and we may see some change.

You don't need to have an active sub to post. You simply don't logout of the forums.

I like running dungeons so I consider capping a bonus.

^ This. I was unsubbed from a month into 3.1 until 3.2 and still could post on the forums the whole time.
