Bioware is known for putting relationships before gameplay, so no. That's a horrible example.

in game marriage is both controversial and simply a joke. leave it out. I dont play video games to listen to people whine that there is no same sex marriage or that there is same sex marriage. I play to escape Real Life which includes this issue. If everyone cannot agree on one way or the other then leave it out.
^ This x1000.
Marriage, in real life or virtual, is retarded and one of the many examples of human flaws.
That certainly speaks to your character. You can't keep running from your circumstances, they'll always catch up with you. Besides, whether or not the marriage feature even involves the emotional investment of those who are getting involved - this is simply for those to indulge their role-playing capabilities.

Those cookies were good.
I lol'd.
If they allow same-sex marriages, then yes. If it's against that like XI was, then no. I'd never use the feature anyway, just like I didn't in XI, but if we're still not going to support equality in a video game in 2011 that has nothing to do with religion, then no, I don't want to see it in the game.
unfortunately promiscuity and marriage technically do not have anything to do with each other. you yourself should have stories of people not being very faithful.
marriage itself isnt flawed, its just often viewed as an actual living being that sits on a throne in the south pole who was molested by a male priest as a child instead of just a human ideal.
marriage is technically and scientifically pointless. its only when human emotions get involved that they conjure the feeling of the need of exclusivity with one other person on an emotional and "spiritual" level. its this idealism here that is flawed in humans because divorce and infidelity are prevalent in both gay and straight relationships.
to keep gaming stress free id say leave marriage out. but if it must be in then i strongly agree with adding gay marriage.
