For once I agree with you.
As I have posted before in topic asking about improvements to character creation and other similar matters, we should have the ability to choose a default mood/expression for our avatar.
Now, I'm not necessarily thinking about making the moods or expressions the same as the emotes. Instead, I think that we should be able to choose from happy, sad, neutral, angry and fearful as the default mood for our avatar's face.
These moods/expressions should also be added to the emotes list with an option to make them 'permanent'. All other facial emotes should either have a longer duration - as in, it stays that way until you re-zone - or a persistent setting so that they stay on your face until you logout.
That way we can have a character that defaults to angry, but we can switch to a happier face as the situation demands, or we can start with a happy face, and get angry as rquired. I'd think this would add to the depth of role play as well since you'd be able to set your default expression according to your role play for that day, and so on.

I think it would be cool if they had a way to set a default expression on your character other then "Robot... >w>

It would be nice to have an expression toggle similar to /changepose.

I don't think they should last forever, but I do think you should have the option to make them persistent like

Slight necro, but still a valid topic.
Any word on being able to toggle some or all of the 'expression' emotes as persistent? Especially now that we have the change pose to set a default stance, would be nice to be able to set a default expression.
