I had a physical copy for PC but downloaded HW expansion no prob. IDK about ps3/4 though since I bought both digital.

It's completely worth it to get HW. You can get from 2 to 4 levels depending on which post-50 quest lines you do.

Definitely not true. I bought the Digital ARR for PS3, got the free upgrade to PS4, then Purchased the Physical Heavensward for PS4. No problems anywhere.
