I agree with you almost completely. Partying is a mindless, soul draining experience. That said though it is something we should all do for that someday... someday, the game will be fixed. Do the best you can with what you got I suppose.

This is what I learned from partying in FFXI: "l'enfer, c'est les autres."
Partying should not be mandatory.

I have pretty nice time with party since 1.16. Way better than before, in 6 members party I made r 32>34 in 3hours, if that is slow I dont know what more you want. And well, we didnt kill coblyns.

everything is also fast if you have friends, lot of playtimes, and a little bit of more positive attitude
