Damage from Confused party members

If they buff themselves right before the confusion, does it boost their damage?

More weird thing is when in confused bard can auto-attack while in WM mode lol

Probably Confusion overrides any other status related to attacking. Some status effects that forces movement like Hysteria will have the character move at regular speed, regardless if they have Heavy or Sprint.
