The first time I did the 2 last dunjons, I literally did nothing, I just sat and watch the cutscenes lol, but then I farmed those places and it was fine

The thing is so stupid easy at this point that being short a healer or tank won't matter... people can faceroll the entire thing regardless. I'm wondering if they might be kicking you because they think you're afk though? I've seen a few people that still try that afk stuff hoping for others to do all the work for them. If someone insisted on staying behind to guide a newbie I wouldn't kick them, but realistically the rest of the group probably wouldn't wait because at least half the people barrel on ahead anyway.
As others have said, unsync with a level 60 player is the way to go with these dungeons. But new players who don't have friends in the game don't know that!
Real solution that would go a LONG way towards fixing Praetorium:
Just make it a 4 man dungeon.
This would discourage leaving people behind, and it still wouldn't be hard. No need to require so many players for this old dungeon at this point.
Also, I'd suggest making it impossible to skip cutscenes unless everyone does it, but that's just an unlikely wish.
In the future I hope S-E just makes it optionally soloable though. Like the solo dungeons with NPC characters in HW.
Honestly I feel for anyone that had a bad first experience in there, I didn't' get to enjoy the story until I leveled my alt. But... I think even less people would run it if they forced people to wait. I would rather they put development into new things, rather than those dungeons. They have learned their lesson for the most part thankfully. The end dungeon for he didn't have nearly as many cutsceens.
One solution would be to split the dungeon up to prevent playing from running ahead. One of the new dungeons does this (I forget which.) They could make it so those portals won't appear until everything is killed. It's a shame for new players who basically have to skip the cut scenes and stay glued to the group or be left behind. Unfortunately, the sheer amount of cut scenes makes it hard to blame people in some cases. While I still think they could suck it up for twenty minutes, it's not an ideal situation for anyone.
Come 4.0 though, I really think the devs need to revisit a solution. A new expansion will likely bring a plethora of new players, and being rushed through the final chapter of the main story isn't going to exactly warm them to the experience.
Yoshi-P said he isn't going to require previous completions to access the new 4.0 zones, though. All he needs to do is create some alternate area in which to level up 50s.
Yeah. it's a big, tangled mess right now, unfortunately.
Let me see if I understand this.
There is a main story dungeon that a new player will never get to properly experience because everyone else in the party will just leave them behind. So not only are you doing nothing to earn your bonuses from being in a party with a first timer, but if they can't finish a story dungeon then they can't finish the MSQ. If you can't finish the MSQ, you can't get into the expansion content.
Really struggling to understand the logic here. Help a poor lala understand...
I think the best solution would be make Main Story dungeons solo instances for the first time you run them. So you can do them without queue, enjoy the cutscenes and return laster to speedrun tthem in oparty without spoiling the fun for everybody.
