Meteorologist class Suggestion

A while back I wanted to see a Necromancer, but that couldn't work because Summoner uses Bio,Miasma,Fester, Bane etc.... Also if you did the WHM 60 job quest you can also see how we feel about it in game.

If I had to choose, possibly Illusionist.

Only if they make it so the meteorologist only has a 10% chance of doing anything right (you know like real ones).
Sunny Days: 10% chance to cause heat damage to enemy but 90% chance to deal lightning damage to random party member and cause dropsy.

Meteorologist almost sounds like an achievement for Black Mage for using LB3 a certain number of times. lol
I'm sure many of us know how much the localization team loves their puns. :p

I think this class would have alot of potential and fun benifits to the ff world... I like the low pressure high pressure thing, that could be a buff proc that the meteorologists could utilize. I want to push this class for the devs. But I am worried I will not be heard

Oh I meant cause dropsy all the time (rain), and 90% chance of lightning.

That's a good concept. Like dropsy as a new dot based on weather

I want to note that the predicted weather from clear the skies lasts for 160 seconds and the cool down for the spell is 360 so the weather change isn't that long and the weather effects the aoe type. So like if the meteorologist predicts wind then they can cast tornados that run around and do damage. Or rain so they can cause a aoe dot like dropsy.

You're looking for the FFIX's version of Scholar. They have abilities to change the weather around characters. An example is Rainstorm:
