Do you happen to have a link to Rath's rotation? I'd appreciate it :)

Sure, it is in this thread.

It is included in the first post, but here's the original post:

Thank you very much :)
Personally, I had bought the ilvl180 mainhand for my blacksmith, so I could craft most of the ilvl170 offhands without those crazy melds. That's a good start, because it boosts most of the other classes and enables them to do two star as well (upgrade from 150 MH to 180 MH is almost the same as 140 OH to 170 OH). But it's a lot of work.
I can't tell you how much stress you saved me. I hadn't even thought of just remelding a few pieces for BSM and my non-specialists. But your little showing combined with the red scrip gear I had bought means that I have much less catch up ahead than I had originally thought. You have my thanks.
One thing to point out, for rath's rotation which can be used in 3star crafting as well, the optimal CP is 471 and that is not achievable with 180 MH & OH
And for why 471? its because a single ToT will boost your "free" touch from 1 to 3
Also since the 170 MH/OH are so much lighter in red script consumption, I highly recommend them over the 180 versions
Very glad to hear that!:)
That is correct. BUT I have just spent 12 Million Gil worth of materia to make 2 ilvl 170 MH and 3 ilvl 170 OH as strong as their ilvl 180 counterparts.
Sure, I would rather spend 12 Million and save 15 weeks of red tokens, but for someone with enough time (or with enough red tokens), it is a great alternative.
