of course its make the life of omnicrafter easier! :).

i mean next time, if they want to nerf the omnicrafter again. please just do anything other than recipe limitation, skill buff, stat buff, more durability, anything for specialist is fine.

according to the patch notes crafter souls provide stat boosts now. so the catch might be, that without those you might not be able to reach certain stat thresholds until acquiring much better gear

clearly she means in the sense that is better to be harder instead of lock it behind specialist.
at least the option to craft it is there.
specialist will have a craftman an control bonus making the specialist have an advantage, instead of locking some items behind them.

Im going to take a wild guess before the servers come up, that the recipies will be difficult to the point where you can either meld tier 5 materia to your crafting set to be able to craft the recipes, or use specialist stone to make up the difference in stats. Theres no way it would require both tier 5 plus stone, otherwise no one at all could craft them. And square did say they would be easier to make then last introduction of recipes

Pretty sure the new items will be specialist only and rotate out in 3.25/3.3.

They didn't mark recipes as specialist or non-specalist in the 3.1 patch notes (when they introduced the specialist recipes).

So theoretically these could all be specialist crafts :\

Dont get your hope up so soon yet.
I heard that SE also didnt mention which recipes were specialist only in 3.1 & 3.15 patch note neither

Whatever. Between my omnicrafter main, my wife's omnicrafter main, my recently-leveled omnicrafter alt, and my wife's recently-leveled omnicrafter alt, it's fine with me if some or all of the new recipes are Specialist-only. But it's fine with me if they aren't.

MMOs change, and we adapt or leave, just like we always have. So far we are tending more towards adapting to FFXIV's changes and less towards leaving. It's not going to make us sad or angry either way.
