Very true. It took a while. And in regards to duty finder. Maybe I'm weird but I've always loved just doing dungeons and duty finder stuff. I also like the challenge of getting into a sucky group and trying to help, like I'll DF Titan Ex and other pains just for fun ><. I've never liked PVP type stuff. Just some good old DF.

That would only make sense if there was an abundance of them. Parade Chocobo is the rarest mount in the game. So the regular Fat Chocobo is the lazy man's Parade Chocobo. XD

Hm, neat that I own the rarest mount. But I can foresee that changing eventually. Over time, everyone will have 3000+ commendations.

I think you might have misunderstood me. When I said poor man's chocobo, i meant in terms of monetary value (Free VS paid). You can either suck it up and grind for those 3000 commendations to get the mount for free, or you can plunk down a few bucks to get a similar version right now.

Yeah, the Parade Chocobo has been out for a while. I assume they'll be coming out with another reward for commendations eventually, probably when the Parade gets knocked from rarest.

Generally when the term "poor man's" means a cheaper, common, and less impressive option. In terms of dollar price, the Parade Chocobo is indeed cheaper. But it's rarity and altered appearance gives it a much higher value, even though that value isn't real money.

*shrug* I don't see much value in it since there's barely any differences between that one and the normal version. Maybe if the feathers were a different color or if it was fatter (lol) it'd make it more desirable to me at least.
