That one time, back in the day, when WoD was ripe with bad tanks and lazy people and arguments.
My BRD was tank central on this one run; the garm for my team, the dragon that spawns central, the eye boss, scylla, xande, 5-head-dreg, atomos, giant puppy, the final boss.
All of them
ALL
they only tried to fight it for the eye, a bit of the second trash, and a fraction of the 5-dreg before all alliances just let me go to see if i could do it.

The Chimera fight in one of the low level dungeons. Healer died around 50%, others died around the 20% and I was left to kite and range attack from a distance with few moments of close quarters attacks when I had the chance till defeat. Going to AV in 1.0 days with 7 players and not full party and when we reach miser shit happen near the end with both tanks and healers dead and just me and other 2 mnks alive to take her last 10% getting poison dot constantly. We successful win with me with 150 hp tanking her and the best of it MNK DL body pop in my loot. So I became another of less than 10 mnks with full set in whole server. And we did in speed run time less than 25m to make pop the 5th chest which has bodies for who don't know.
Nothing else could beat this so far even all ARR and HW content.
Bard OT during behe fight in CT with 5 other tanks being to lazy to do so. All teh iron giants.
And generally tanked most bosses once or twice as bard when the tank died...
Seeing as it has happened on multiple occasions it has lost it's "shine", lol
Probably jip cutters cry, poor newbie blm all alone not long on the clock but this guy wasn't giving up.
I'm on drg a job I haven't touched in several months, just the boss left to do. We duo it down no probs :)

Not my most shining DPS tank moment by any stretch of the imagination but the most recent, tank and other DPS died while the demon book in the library was at around 70% or so, the whitemage and myself spent the next few minutes burning the bastard down
The first time we went into Ifrit EX (I was a BLM) we only read up a little bit on what to do, but when the needles came, I LB3'd without thinking, needless to say it was a right good laugh.
Then our clear (a few wipes after) everyone was dead but one of the healers and myself, I was a bit disorientated but everyone just shouted at me to Scathe and I did so, Ifrit died to that one Scathe, right after he thwacked the healer to death.
Looking back, that was by far the tightest situation I have ever been in.
I ended up tanking the last boss in void ark last night when it was sub 5% and finished it with like 500hp.
Definitely that time me and the FC went to get a bunch of us (myself incldued) a Mog EX clear back in 2.5... I went as dragoon, a class I hadn't perfected back then (I used to main bard) but our group already had a bard. So, long story short, he's doing the final, wiping Memento Moogle. I panic, hit the limit break 3. We had already spent ages wiping on him... I didn't wanna do that abominable thing again...
So, my limit break fires off literally 0.1 second before he finishes the Memento Moogle cast. He dies. I swear I was sweating buckets in relief.
The other one was that Void Ark run where my entire party got busted by Cetus' dropping AOE thingies... except for me. I was at full health thanks to liberal application of Second Wind, Bloodbath and Life Surge. Alliance chat was a riot, to say the least!
