3.2 Tome Gear

Shiva is better for BLM imo.
We could get Kirin related gear as Kirin is in the game too :p, he has always been a healing summon. Phoenix would also be a good contender for a healer. Carbuncle would be a great SCH outfit :).

Will I'll try my picks.

Fending = Titan because thongs for all
Maiming = Ravana mainly because of the insect armor design
Aiming = Shiva because of bow stance
Casting = Ramuh because he's already a caster
Healer = Garuda mainly because of feathers and SE loves to equal feather to healing

I'm kinda hoping we get Garuda, mostly because green is my favorite color and one that I associate strongly with healing magic. She would also be an appropriate patron primal for healers considering how many of our spells are wind-based. And since her design is sexy and sleek, it would be pretty hard for them to slap us in yet another heavy robe and pretend it's somehow inspired by her.

Don't get me wrong, I love long robes and am totally okay with most healer gear being pretty and frilly, that sort of thing looks great on pretty catboys, but it would be nice to be able to show a little leg once in a while.

I'd also be okay with Shiva-themed gear, but it would have to look like her 'outfit', and be the same for males and females XD.

Shiva makes me think of a skintight Fantastic Four outfit made from ice-like materials. We can only hope. I have a feeling it will be feathers though due to Phoenix being the historical emblem of healing.

Bismarck fits the WHM theme well at least, being Water and Wind, but I don't think Ravana and Bismarck will get sets and we'll be limited to the 2.0 and 2.X primals.

And God, do I hope it's role-based. I have no room as it is.

I actually wish healers would have gotten Leviathan's set. 10+ years of FFXI makes me automatically categorize MND as the element firmly attached to Water. Otherwise, I can see the argument a few ways:
- Garuda uses Wind and Cure is wind elemental. And, I guess, she's feminine and SE is all for feminine healers. Also, feathers.
- Ramuh uses the WHM staff. He'd give us poofy robes, too.
- Shiva is the last of the realistic options. I don't really see how Shiva is related to healers outside of the theory that ASTs were the ones who caused the blocking of the sun and the ice age Umbral era. I guess it would be the same thing as Garuda; she's feminine. And, I guess, lore-wise you can argue she attempted to "heal" the rift between human and dragon. But I can also see the argument for giving Shiva to ranged, because her bow attack is brutal. I can also see the argument for giving her to Casters.

Or SE can just throw everyone for a loop and give us Titan. Because they can.

Another healer who hopes that we get Garuda set. My character is as Garuda themed as you can get, and if it turns out she can't wear Garuda armor I will be very sad because I'll have to weigh my love of SCH over my Ruda fangirling and Ruda might win. :C

I suspect they won't use the new primals, and instead go back to gear sharing with the original 6 + Kupo.

In which case:
Titan: Tanks
Mog: Healers :C
Ruda: Ranged
Ramuh: Casters
Levi: NIN
Ifrit: MNK
Shiva: DRG (because coerthas and drg quests)

I really hope that if they are planning on making some gear sets glamour-able by any job, these will be the ones. I really really don't want to change Chione's job. But I can't abide there being Garuda armor and her being unable to wear it. Doom.

I would be happy with Garuda, Shiva or Phoenix.

I just do not want the healer gear to be based on Bismarck.

Predicting Ramuh or Garuda for the Healing set. Ramuh because he has a robe (and his staff is supposedly the same as the WHM weapon), and Garuda because the colour scheme leans more to a healer aesthetic.

*edit* Also possible they could give Mog set to Healers too, which would be... meh.

Bismarck is a good candidate for healer as well, FF6 Bismarck was healing ^^.

Mog set would be ridiculously cute.
