My static does 2 hours, 2 days a week. We don't progress much, and talk and joke about as much as we fight, but we have fun.
Just look for chill people.

Yeah anytime new content gets released I kinda feel bad because I know I missed out beating the content the way it was intended. Because let's face it they dumb down anything asap to get more people to advance their endgame. I guess at least I can go on and be wishful for more pug-friendly mechanics :-)
Maybe I need to be more active in the community and try to find an FC that focusses on getting other members to par with their raiding teams...
I'm a very good back-up to have around :p
umm whats softcore? If you mean like most elite hardcore raiders are too intence and you have to raid dueing their times then I prefer softcore too.
But well on my server I kinda need to learn how to speak jp as the small amount of eng people on my server are kinda too intence for my likeing and ore already have raid groups.
Try to go to a Japanese server. The only goods FCs from this game are there.
Hmmm...
Based on your use of 'soft-core' as a term for end-game players without the time commitment for a full time static, I would have to wonder whether that means we also have 'glamour' (or since this is a japanese game, 'Gravure')players who spend lots of time in game, have no set schedule, and are not interested in end-game conent? Perhaps we also have swimsuit players who are even less structured in their approach to the game, followed of course by casual players. That though, suggests a place for 'Formal' players, and other categories. Perhaps Formal players are like Gravure players who wear formal outfits instead of glamour shot material?
So we'd have a range of players;
- Hadcore
- Softcore
- Gravure/Glamour
- Formal
- Swuimsuit
- Casual
Which player type are you?
Sorry, I couldn't resist having a bit of fun. Kosmos would be a Gravure player onthe above scale...
Hey, it's a video game, how 'serious' do we need to be? ;)
OP name is "Loli", thread title is "softcore" :|
Right there with you. Especially that last line about tips...
On topic though, any form of play is viable, as long as you can find people of mind to do it. These days, finding people who don't mind taking it slow isn't that difficult, but you still need to get out there to find it. It'll be a lot easier to find such groups like that a little after 3.2 launches probably.
Not gonna lie, I thought this was about something entirely different when I read "softcore". I was gonna say, in certain instances, depending on mood, softcore can be VERY viable =p
But that is not the case here.
