Not true either. Some do reference your tussles with the primals and are glad to have you help them to prevent further summoning and you're well known with the Vanu Vanu as the one who slayed Bismarck. Each beast tribe have their reasons for having beef with the spoken races, but in the end, we know the Ascians are the ones that gave the beast tribes the power to summon primals.

The jedi and rebel alliance were actually the bad guys in that whole situation and I hope we are not the bad guys in the end.

It's true, take a good look at the story. They are militant terrorists who effectively collapsed the economy of the galaxy, which is conveniently dismissed in episode 7 so there could be an episode 7. You can say what you want about the sith and the emporer and the dark side blah blah blah, but the only reason ppl believe the Jedi are good is because they use the 'light' side of the force and are depicted to be sympathetic. Luke, Han and the whole lot are nothing more than common terrorists you are fooled into sympathizing with. A sort of star wars Stockholm syndrome. The evidence is out there, take a good look at some of it.

This is why you shouldn't listen to the pseudo-intellectuals of Film Theory and other tripe, kids. It might be they're seen as good guys because they don't choke their own soldiers out of annoyance, blow up populated planets to make a point, or strongarm what populaces they don't slaughter into doing what they want. Also, the Death Star was built with slave labor, not good old economy-enhancing jobs. I know it's really popular to be edgy and say that the obviously evil people were the good guys, but it really doesn't work for SW.

lol there are way more than just Film Theory out in the shady corners of the internet about this, which is just dumbed down to make it easier to understand. As someone who does this sort of thing for a living (deconstruction and theory of books and film), works way to well for SW.

But all terrorist groups have their supporters who see them as a shining example though, so don't feel bad.

Okay...since you love using that word so much, let me be the bearer of bad news and inform you that the rebels are, by definition, not terrorists. Here is the definition of terrorism. http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/terrorism Nothing the rebels did in these movies matches that description. I also notice you make no effort to argue against my description of the empire's actions.

I do find it interesting that despite supposedly being so knowledgeable about this topic, you don't offer any kind of counter-argument. Oh, and for the record, it's "too well".

Yea Someone saw Mat Pat's Film Theory video on The Deathstar.

But in a way I agree that the Old Jedi Order were bad (Which if my theory is correct with the 1st Umbral Era, The First Warriors of Light actually started this conflict)

They were all about "Restoring Balance to the Force" when it was 10,000 Jedi Knights vs 2 Sith Lords and then wondered WTF happened when they all got taken down by "The Chosen One".

Well, has anyone consider that Elidibus is our Darth Vader, and that we are going to end up discovering that this "Truth" he mentioned in 2.1 is that "Restoring Balance" between light and darkness actually means we HAVE to let him win and awaken Zodiark to force Hydaelyn's light into equilibrium against Zodiark's Darkness so neither can eradicate the other?
