Nothing wrong with the sword but Ancile could use a little size buff on Roegadyns. I don't know how it scales on other races but it really does look small on my character. I do like my shields large a'la Bulwark of azzinoth.

Emperor's new___ is ultimately an illusion of an item placed on top of gear you're using.

The same could be said about PGL/MNK's weapon and we finally got the emperor's new fists.

So what's stopping them from creating a invisible or transparent shield?

Where are my Emperors new daggers/spear.

I want my fantasy character to stab/slash with the air! Throw logic out the window.

When the emperors fists were released, I went and bought one to test it for one specific detail:

Your monk will actually fight with his fists instead of holding an invisible grip. Wich is exactly what people wanted.

We've got flying turtles. And tanking in bikinis. Invisible weapons aren't much of a stretch

I very much doubt it. The only one handed weapons that aren't gld come from THM and CNJ and they were only kept due to 1.x. If you notice no futher weapons have been one handers. They could make a one-handed type weapon but mechanically it would be a two hander.

If you take a close look at the fists, there's still a spot open to grip the bar of a weapon.
