Low Level BLM : Use transpose once you burn out and then Blizzard 1 or maybe throw a thunder out while MP regens to full then transpose again to start out with AF1 and fire away again.
High level BLM: If Fire 3 and Bliz 3 are available you can start with Bliz 3 go to Fire 3 throw out Fire 1's then Bliz 3 and usually throw out a Thunder 2 before casting Fire 3 into Fire 1 Spam again. If you have only 2 stacks of orbs then T1 would suffice.
BLM is eh at low levels but gets better at higher levels with more stacks of orbs.

Has to be a troll thread, that is a terrible way to play BLM.
If not, the thread is a valid argument on why we need some form of parser in the game.
Please at least read your tool tips.

Gr8 b8 m8 I r8 8/8
Unless you are for real...Fire-Blizzard-Fire-Blizzard....if thats seriously the way you've been DPSing...I'll let you know that your DPS would be higher if you just sat there and spammed Blizzard.

Is this where the melee white mages hang out?

I'm sorry but as a BLM lover I have to disagree if you are letting your mp only drop to half you are doing no real dps....if you have bliz III you don't really need to use transpose at all unless you over extend and don't have enough mp for bliz III...and wait for your mp to refresh in seconds like cast one thunder I while you wait then rinse and repeat...at 60 you will be deemed as a awful player cause most of the Enochian rotations will have you bottoming out of mp for just enough to cast bliz III and into Bliz IV....there is nothing wrong with playing your way but expect to get kicked a lot cause you are playing way below the standard imo sorry

This isn't a console game where you are playing by yourself and what you are do has no bearing on anyone else. Wasting people's time playing poorly because it's fun for you isn't cool. I am not sure the extent of what you are or aren't doing, so this may or may not apply to you. The jobs are generally set up with a set rotation or right way to do the most damage. Not understanding it, or learning it, or trying and messing up is totally cool. Not doing it on purpose is like tossing your middle finger up to your teammates.

You realize this is a troll thread......right?

I once saw a blond-braided BLM named Elsa something or other in a Shiva DF party wearing a blue colored wedding dress who then proceeding to cast nothing but ice spells. We all laughed, even though she was super useless.

Stick with BLM its a fun class to play. And yes please use transpose... I still use transpose after I bust out my AOE skills.... Once you get to level 45 you wont be using transpose as often. but for now use fire 1 till you run low on mp (I don't recommend going down to zero mp) then transpose.
Transpose will swap fire (astral) for ice (umbral). While in umbral form you will gain back mp so while you waiting for your mp bar to fill up use bliz 1. When your mp bar is full go back to fire. Around level 40ish you will have fire 3 and Blizard 3 available.
I recommend this rotation for far less headaches. Bliz 3 > thunder 1 (don't use thunder 2 right now or ever and only use thunder 3 for when you get thunder procs) > Fire 3 > > Fire 1 > Fire 1 > Fire > Fire 1 > Bliz 3 > Thunder 1 > Fire 3 > Fire 1......ect. do this until level 60.
Once you are level 60 your rotation will drastically change but the first three steps in rotation will not change. Bliz 3, Fire 3 will always be your Form changers. Bliz 3 will bring back your mp really fast and fire 3 will be used to put you at maxed astral fire form so you can start using Fire 4. I highly recommend checking out a few videos on BLM... Its well worth it and you never know you might see some things you never thought about or tried.
My opener is slightly different then what ive seen but I absolutely love it... heres my level 60 opener...
Normal Boss Opener: (I'll add a Int potion after thunder 1 if doing raids.....)
Bliz 3 > Thunder 1 > Fire 3 > Ley Lines + Enochian > Fire 4 > Firestarter > Raging strikes > fire 1> Fire 4> Convert + Fire 3 proc > Fire 4 > Fire 4 > Fire 4 > bliz 3> thunder 1 or thunder 3 proc (if have time) > Bliz 4> Fire 3 > Fire IV > Fire IV > Fire > Fire IV > Fire IV> Bliz 3......ect

On the chance this isn't trolling:
There are actually very few different ways to play while still playing well. And, yes, some people will kick you if you're only doing a third of the work (or rather, product) of the others. That much is simply fact.
Others will also attempt to help you close that gap instead. That much is rather lucky.
You can keep playing how you feel is fun, and being kicked on occasion, or you can enjoy the learning and mastering processes, and whatever advice pertinent to those that come along. Someone else is putting in effort to help; you can always say "that's enough for now", but it's not like they're ever going out of their way to ruin your gaming. Usually, they just figure they can get you a lot closer to par even if with just a few bits of advice given, so that the run can go at a closer to normal speed, so they can go on enjoying their game. Can't really blame them just for that.
