Well, as far as I know, Jalzahn and Gerolt were arguing among each other who should get the Starforger title, to the point that Jalzahn decided to just stay in Hyrstmill instead of going home. So I reckon they didn't want to give it to you because that's a matter between the two. Then again, it'd be interesting to see how it's in the japanese version.

I have wanted role-based titles for a while....

Defender - For becoming a Master of Tanking.
~ Must complete the lv60 Job Quest for Paladin, Warrior, and Dark Knight ~

Cleric - For becoming a Master of Healing.
~ Must complete the lv60 Job Quest for White Mage, Scholar, and Astrologian ~

Wizard - For becoming a Master of Magical Ranged DPS.
~ Must complete the lv60 Job Quest for Black Mage and Summoner ~

Fighter - For becoming a Master of Melee DPS.
~ Must complete the lv60 Job Quest for Monk, Dragoon, and Ninja ~

Ranger - For becoming a Master of Ranged Melee DPS.
~ Must complete the lv60 Job Quest for Bard and Machinist ~

Titles o.O? no thanks I rather have mounts or glamour pieces from older FFXIV or from other known SE games.

Because writing text is equivalent to creating a model, texturing it, animating it and then placing it in game.

As for the OP, I want more Job based titles. Cleared 100 level 50+ instances as a Ninja? Title of "Assassin" unlocked. 200 instances as a Paladin? "Holy Knight", and so on. I know we have titles for quest classes, but all those show are that you've done the Job quests and they're pretty... eh. The level 60 title wasn't even original, from Shadow to Darkest Shadow.

I want more titles too!
I remember back when pretty much every seasonal event gave a title. Now it's been like a year since we last got a title from there, and it was one that sounds incredibly stupid in my client language x.x
I love collecting titles (a big reason why I do achivements in the first place) and switching them all the time to fit my looks, current jobclass, glamour and so on.

Yeah these kinds of things were what I was thinking about too. Wouldn't take much at all to implement and it would be fun to see what people chose to use and for titles like this, what their play preferences are.

I'm not really thinking there are too few titles, per se, it's just a large portion of them you get automatically through playing the story or finishing a job. A few go beyond that of course. I thought it would be fun to have a few obscure or specialty titles.

I m ok with all the titles, dont really need new ones.

But.. But... But I am the Avatar, master of the Elements... Q_Q

honestly though, I wonder why noone like this title. Everyone seems to prefer the Domitor/trix title

Need to add a new pvp kill title, preferably a 15k kill achievement.

Had my hand of mercy title a while.

I have 67 different Titles. Definitely enough
