The best feeling is when leveling Alchemist from 56 to 60 in one day by leve and giving profit too. I just buy Hallowed Water on MB (I forgot the price, but the HQ price is lower than the HQ reward from leve) and Enchanted Aurum Regis Ink (Lower price than leve reward too).
I kinda gouged the Iron Clappers during the event, they were going for about 5k, so I made em for 1k and sold, then I saw someone post about 20 for 1g....so I bought em all and resold for 1k. The extras I just sold to vendor for like 4g?
I have posted Glazenut seeds for 10k on accident but quickly corrected it, closest I got to being screwed :3

Didn't happen to me but my bf snagged a Nutkin off MB for 450k. Somewhere out there, some fella is swearing at having forgotten a 0. xD
today i saw someone post a stack of 10 sphalerite ore HQ 1k7 at mb, i bought them all and resold 28k, feel so guilty ;_;
The good:
Plane Long Skirts were going for around 300k on my server for a while, managed to scoop one up at 60k.
The bad:
Finally leveled up my Weaving a bit to where the MB is a bit more profitable. Learned to make HQ White Berets just in time for the market to go from 120k to 10k per hat. No idea why it was so inflated to begin with but it was up there for quite a while so I had been hoping I'd have a shot at making some gil...
Bought a thavnairian silk once for 39k when they were selling for 400k
When 3.1 first hit (when St. Mochiannes was added), I found the only Korporkkur(?) Kid minion listed on MB for 600,000. I snatched it up, and resold it for 3 million. It sold within 2 hours. I was pretty pleased. ^^
One night I was randomly looking at minions and caught a Unicolt for 60g when they were selling for 400k. Good times, good times.
I just got into this crafting and market thing. An FC member bought a HQ bone chip fromme for a whopping 2gil.
