Yoshi - Players who "Like" Challenges would ALSO like to obtain a Relic Weapon

Aside from that, Relics were only meant to fill in the niche of Grindy Content for people who like that kind of stuff.

Alex Savage = first set of 210 Weapons available (challenge and skill party content)
Relic = 2nd set of 210 Weapons (Grind and Solo)
Void Ark God Dip = 3rd set of 210 (Much later 210 weapons requires no challenge Just upgrade the Eso weapon)

I don't think it is the Relic Quest that is the problem, just entitled players not understanding what niche it fills.

Except they're already relevant. Even if you just get to Awoken, that's i200.

The only weapons higher are Thordan, Gordian, and upgraded Eso, all of which come from higher difficulty content that "casuals" wouldn't be doing.

So this weapon is equal to and potentially better than anything they would hope to receive.

A weapon doesn't have to be highest iLvl to be "relevant".

Considering the 2.x relics remained best in slot until level 59, and they were good for at least six months to a year prior to that, I think the argument of "it'll only be good for two months" is kind of flat.

XI relics were good for years, but they also took years. XIV's 2.x relics are good for months, maybe up to a year, once they're finished, and after all the nerfs they certainly didn't take more than a few weeks to get.

Let's see what more they add to the anima questline before we discount the possibility that they'll be 5-10 iLvls above everything else by the time 3.x era ends.

Its not the grind that bothers me, its the same content used for the grind....if they have new content id be much happier because its a new, fun and fresh content. Not the same old re-used stuff we have had for 6 months...

This is why most people are angry because its 6 months for the same stuff we have in game. I want relic only content that makes it unique to the relics to each relic to make them feel like i just did a legendary quest.

Not to mention they're going to be updated in relation to new gear and weapons released. I don't know why people think they're grinding out for a halt at 210.

You would get bored of the new content regardless. All content has a "shelf life." People are going to complain no matter what.

It would keep everyone happy long enough to get the relic and have the next stage come out...look at 2.0 idk why they think we wanna grind away like mad to get something. I want a story around my relic....not some oh grind till u die...

There is a story, not very long one, but still there, some dude comes about and wants to progress, brings gerolt out of retirement, its like RL, you don't think a machine packaging stuff is fun, but no one thinks about the things that it takes to make it!! XD
