Anyone ever see a retainer in the field?

Honestly, that looks to me like it's a generic name that SE put in there to make them seem more "realistic". I somehow doubt that it's an actual retainer running around.....

On another note. I had no idea this was even a thing. I find random NPCs all the time when I wander around, but I suppose I should be looking for the retainer ones. Maybe we should turn this into a "roaming retainer sightings guide"......

That's actually an invalid name in the speech bubble. You can't capitalize any of the letters when making a name except for the first letter of the first name and first letter of the last name.

Yeah that is strange the only difference wasnthat the one I saw was harvesting, but I wonder if its the same retainer?

I think it's a running joke. I believe an npc (I really don't remember where) was talking about adventurers' names and mentions that one saying it's kinda odd.

I've seen quite a few and they have interesting story lines if you spend time around them. Some complain about life, others talk about rare fish; my first time spotting one was at Oschon's Tower where Silver Sovereign live.

Same, I saw a female Miqo'te fishing up there.

I saw a lala one gathering outside of fallgourd float once
thought i took a screen capture but I can't find it :/

My favorite one was the one someone caught saying "Maybe Master soandso won't beat me so hard next time."

I've only seen a green-haired male one just west of Camp Dragonhead who says the whole area is picked clean.
