Just the RNG sucks.

After the 10th token, 7/8 of my static bought their weapon, because only 1 mainclass weapon did drop.

We got

• 1x MNK
• 2x BRD
• 3x NIN
• 4x DRK

Thanks a lot! Been helping a few people that I've been trying to get a down with before to get theirs. Sucks so hard when you just can't get it down for them even when they are top notch players XD I've killed it tanking and dpsing. gonna give healing. Go now. Can't say I'm looking forward to it looks rather unforgiving even if everyone dodges everything perfectly haha

Some questions:
How much DPS needs to be done to kill him before the fa*** knight appears and makes Thordan invincible?
And when are the best times to pop Enochian? I still struggle hard to keep my damage up in phase 8 and beyond...

I love it so much I've beaten it 32 times, mostly because my weapons never dropped (Was aiming for Mch gun, Ninja daggers and Mnk knuckles, NEVER DROPPED, until I bought them of course -_-) But the good thing is I've gotten the weapon for every class except Whm, Pld and Bard.

33 kills still not seen a bow drop. In the end bought it with tokens even though I can only really use it in a2s until I get the a2s gloves...

Ummm I had 2 black mages and myself at around 1000 -1100 the entire fight (1500 by end of opener peaking at 2100) and a bard at around 800 and it seems sufficient. If everyone stays up and lb 3 and lb 2 used on the boss should be sufficiant to skip the last phase. If the dps is a lot lower save the lb 2 for the knight at the end. I'd say pop enocian every time you have it. You want max dps on your opener. And max dps after the music change. Everything else is a meh really not amazing dps needed. Maybe pop it on the double shield and sword oath knights too as you Wana kill one outright with good dps.

Oh I'll have to ask my black mages but apparently you can block that very first massive aoe he does in first phase and at the end with manaward so that might help you keep it going.

2 AST
8 DRK
2 Shields
3 Swords
1 SCH
2 SMN
6 NIN
4 DRG
6 WHM
1 WAR
4 MCH
2 BRD
3 MNK
2 BLM

... I main SCH WAR \o/ - used token for Axe and luckily was on my SCH when book dropped run no. 27 (refused to use token on it)

But I really enjoy the fights so idm keep helping others/farm it ^^

Most DPS can eat the first meteorrain as long as no overlap. I do it on bard. But you do need the HP limit and have a stoneskin - and maybe a shield as well.
