Should Unsynced content give rewards?

If people aren't doing something, it's because they don't enjoy doing it. You don't need rewards for something you enjoy doing because the enjoyment you get just from doing it is an intrinsic reward itself.

Therefore, it is safe to say that the majority of people does not consider these fights "fun".

Would be nice. Lots of people would probably spam all content, even Coil.

Given the fact I can run Titan and Levi ex unsycned and still have over half the party go over, or having a majority of the team frozen by Shiva, I'd rather not be forced to go back into the headache of running at sync'd level. Now if they were to guarantee drops for doing so or higher chance to drop I can see people doing it but at the time where everyone just wants to farm for ponies, I can't see many really wanting to go back to the old way, having to carry the team just to get the pony and only saving grace being loot-master so those who slept most of the time can't ninja it and walk away.

I think the dev's current stance on this is nothing is holy or sacred after the content has become outdated. Also, if you look at all the responses on the diadem gear threads you'll see that the current consensus seems to be that nobody wants to do something hard simply for the sake that it's fun. You have to have a carrot at the end of the stick to get them to move and if the carrot isn't shiny enough then they will come here and complain.

Yes they should.
Thats the fun in getting a higher lvl cap, you can go back to old content and farm rewards you always wanted easily or help friends farm them.
In WoW I used to do that for skins and the mount from Stratholm when I was lvl 70. I like it that way.

I think you've got it upside down. If it were fun, people wouldn't need a reward. If people won't do it without a reward, then it isn't fun.

Its old content, it goes out of style as the game goes on, part and parcel for MMO's, might as well let players who never got all the rewards from them before get some stuff.

Almost all the primals are easy to clear after some practice, most people run old raids/trials for glamour/vanity items anyway, might as well let them do it faster.

Maybe for folks like you and me but the opposite seems to be the reason why threads like "Diadem and Savage - I can't take it anymore." exist. I don't see the point about complaining about the exclusivity of any gear when for we all know it's just going to become outdated and something you can unsync for by the next expansion. If that were the case (and assuming what you mean is that Alexander Savage isn't fun) then why not wait until it gets toned down for it to actually be fun rather than bang your head against it?

I was unsure, what this unsynced mode really was, but I already feared it to be this "God Mode On" system. I find it utterly ridiculous, that rewards for a serious challenge back then are now so easily obtainable.

Calling the content old isn't a valid argument to me, because for everyone, who hasn't done it yet it's still new, just a bit dated. I wouldn't mind though, if they increased the chance to receive the reward, maybe even to 100% (probably should vary from case to case). So you can be sure to get the reward, once you've beaten the challenge as intended.
