i guess my argument is yeah so?

Yes, of course the graphics will change with a new engine because you're changing how objects are rendered. But that does not mean that the art direction will change too.

Hey Zenaku, RELAX okay? There is absolutely nothing in any of the pdf files that even give the slightest appearance of a cartoony change in appearance. Things are only looking BETTER. People worry too much geez. When I see these upcoming changes, I finally see what I've been waiting for in a FINAL FANTASY mmo since I first heard of FFXIV.

I for one like the concept art. I also don't see where you guys are seeing the cartoony look. I mean WOW, and um War3 are the first games that come to mind when i hear anyone talk about cartoony looks. I'm pleased with how the concept art looks, and I'm excited to see what the final product will be.

Note: Zenaku has been staunchly against all changes made and proposed by the dev team. He's always gloom and doom about FFXIV's future.

unlike the rest of people who does not even play the game and troll on the forums i'm a player just like you and i have the right to against any changes made to the game that what the forums are made for. If the game look better then it's fine but if it change the look too what that picture display then it would lose what i love about the game.

Once i read and talk to a few people i starting to agree that addon,servers party are all good ideas for casual players and would not even mess with my gameplay so i can care less sometime i overlook something so my bad for that.

And everyone else who quote me i hope your right i hope the game still look the same i don't want it too change to the point that look of the game change. Even if they have too for lower end pc at least allow the rest of us who running the game fine still have the same type of look.

Have you guys bothered to look at the actual screen shots of the new stuff? The art direction isn't changing at all.
