Why does anyone care if some other player is enjoying content sooner than they are? This game is mostly PvE.

Its reset day...if the servers come up before reset anyone who gets on can get extra gear/tomes they shouldnt have.

Head start on loot. As in progressing loot sooner than the Devs want. We have weekly lockouts for a reason.

They could always do what Blizzard did with WoW and have new raids unlock at the same time as content resets. But even so I don't really see why anyone should care if someone has extra tomes/gear than they do considering it's not exactly a race (unless you choose to make it one yourself).

Even PvE includes many "PvP" aspects - like getting your gear or achievements sooner than others for bragging rights.

Imo SE is more concerned with players being able to finish their gear sooner and unsub sooner tho.
