Something Something Server Memory BLABLABLA Something Something!
i do get that it would be faster to have a single "repair all" for all categories at once, but really does it save you that much time to make a diference? going through all of the categories will take a minute maybe 2. it just plains out speaks of lazyness.
of course, if you're using a npc for repairs, it will be more annoying, you will be hitting it at least twice as often than someone that can self repair. but then again, that is merely the player choice.
i would prefer they added a desynth all option or quick desynth over this ~.~;
Not everyone waits until 0% to repair. I repair whenever I've done something intensive, maybe its 70%.Quote:

The current repair system, for npc's at least, is...unnecessarily complicated. I'm not sure why they decided to break it into categories like this, since it really doesn't make anything easier or add anything to the game. Having one button to repair everything would be quicker and more convenient.
Maybe it is a laziness thing, but honestly the current system doesn't take much effort anyway...it's just a minor (unnecessary) inconvenience.
Wow, you people really like to let your gear go. I repair after everything I do. That said, because I repair after everything I do all my damaged gear is listed in the same window when I visit the NPC. I've never understood the point of waiting.
I so rarely start a thread that I tend to forget that some people are against EVERYTHING, even when there is no actual reason to be against it..*sigh*
Yes, it is a QoL improvement. It's not something NEEDED. But I also don't NEED teleports, I could just travel everywhere on my trust chocobo steed. Does it make life more convenient to be able to teleport instead of walking everywhere? Of course! But actually, it just caters to my "lazy" side, if we go by your logic.
when you repair through npc, you pay accordingly to the % it restores.
if you do it through self repair, each time consumes 1x grade 1/2/../6 dark matter accordingly to the level of the item and it always restores 100%, so if your item is at 99, it will be at 199% condtion. once you can self repair you stop worrying about "when" to do it, because as long you have the dark matter on inventory you can do it anytime, anywhere.
its not a matter of letting the gear go,it wont drop suddenly from 50% to 0% unless you spend a full hour dieing over and over again, after wich, i would say anyone would remember to check. its not like gear will give you a better boost at 150% condition than it will give at 30%
