It's not an exploit. High level character can spend his personal time helping low level player catch up so they can kill big things together. Good thing.
Who gives a rat's *** anyways if it's an exploit or not.
Square said it was their mistake on how the things turned out. I would love for them to roll back all the power leveling nonsense but in reality they can't. That would take way too much time and most likely is impossible.
This sounds like the excuse used to justify the Salvage exploit lol. Compared to that, this is just something that was an oversight that people are taking advantage of, Salvage exploit was something Square said to stop doing while they observed and corrected it, we know the outcome of that.
So I doubt there would be punishment, but if they felt the balance is heavily off they would likely perform a rollback of some sort if they deemed necessary, but even that is a low chance of happening.
SE says "Lets allow Powerleveling"
SE Adds the ability to powerlevel in 1.19.
Players powerlevel each other.
???
SE Punishes players for powerleveling???
How about no.
why punish people for an intended mechanic?
on that note, anyone want to power level me on Besaid id be grateful lol
Except this is a bug in the calculations the game is doing to determine how much exp you are rewarded. [Removed by Moderator according to the FINAL FANTASY XIV FORUM Guidelines.]
Look lv 1 Yoshi P clearly stated that he wants for friends to enjoy endgame content together.
Really you believe that punishing people for something that SE added to the game is a great idea?
Willing or not SE added it to the new system and people went out and used it so stop crying about how unfair it is.
I've said it a few times already that if you don't like it don't use it and play the way you want to play and earn your levels the way you want to earn them.
