A big Ego is bad? I didn't know, I thought pride and confidence was a good thing!

I understand your frustration, but I think Chimeric made some very good points that you kinda brushed off. I would definitely be okay considering a non-synced option for premades, although it would encourage plvling, more spam etc..
That being said, I'm always disappointed heading into an instance and seeing I'm missing a bunch of songs and AoEs. :(
Out leveling people in low level content wouldn't be "helping" them at all. You'd just be adding frustration and carrying them thru the dungeon. Also the lower level dungeons were made to cater to the levels they are given, hence the reason why you are synced in progression content to begin with. Presenting a challenge to overcome is helpful in skill development. Subverting these challenges effectively negates such development and would have them carried while learning nothing at all. Beyond that there is no dungeon that is so complicated at it's relative level that it necessitates such "help."
People you are all wasting your time with him.
If you want to spell he's name it starts with a T and ends with a L.
Just look up he's other threads and you'll see what I mean.
Why do you keep punishing us with mind-numbing threads/replies?
Pride and confidence are very good things - But, respectfully, I think I understand what they are trying to say. Reading your post - it more so just comes off that you want to show off, not really help people. And seeing how you respond to other posts, it more so comes off that you know better and everyone else is wrong because they don't agree with you. I wouldn't call that pride and confidence.
Personally when I get level synced I don't feel powerless - and the point of being level synced is so people can't just blast through the dungeon. It allows new players to actually learn. New players and friends will get a lot more out of someone explaining things to them, helping them with their rotations and teaching them how to use their skills. Not having a person in the party who wants to be better than everyone else, shows off and doesn't give them time to actually learn their job because they are too busy rushing though the dungeon and showing how much better they are skill wise.
Actually when Im in a learning party it tends to take a bit longer because I explain the basis of the boss fights etc. With new players I try and consider what they need more than how fast I wanna get though or showing off.
This game is designed to punish you, the stronger you get.
Its made this way, so you can show true skills and that you have mastered you class/job, by being good even though you're getting weakend.
At least thats the idea. The reality looks different.
