I cried when I saw leveling in 1.19

I'm sorry your life has sucked, but we were warned that we were playing a game that was going to changed drastically. But the fact is, if you did already level a job or two to 50, then no one can take that achievement away from you.

You can tell all those whipper snappers out power leveling that "in my day, we had to earn our exp the hard way."

I don't know about you, but I'd rather have the thrill of having a clean apartment that I can invite people into without embarrassment and a healthy diet consisting of a variety of protein, vitamins, minerals and grains.

I don't want to play a game that requires me to glue myself to my computer for 10+ hours a day. I had enough of XI, that's why I stopped playing it. You want en Everquest/XI-like experience? I hear servers still are up for both those games. XIV was advertised as a casual-friendly MMO, and they're sticking to that vision as the prepare for a PS3 release.

Why did you feel you had to include your life history to explain about leveling in a videogame? When you admit you didnt take out the trash for 2 weeks and let it smell up the place, you probably need some professional help to cut down on your addiction.

Being the first person in the world to reach max level is something I've never been fuzzed about. Its like seeing LotR/SW fans camping outside the cinema 2-6weeks to get tickets to see the movie before any others. But guess what, seeing the movie on releaseday or 1month later, it still provides the person who sees it for the first time the same experience.

When I got my first class to R50, I was happy. Did I care if others were 50s before me, no. I play my own game. And my Con was 50 before .19.

Cool it breaks the game for 5% of players and makes it much better for 95%. Also Notice a lot more people playing? yeah i bet they will stick around when they can work on things like ifrit and actually play in the new high lv dungeons.
