A Possible 2 Star Rotation in the Future

Doesn't Muscle Memory = almost all that FS for less CP?

Muscle Memory costs 10 durability while one FS cycle will on average give you one ToT and a full CZ cycle. So in high end crafting MaMa+FS is almost always superior, unless you are using a rotation which doesn't need the extra 10 durability (which could occur if don't have enough SHII to cover the extra gap) This can occur in short rotations which have less hasty touches but stack up on extra CP for basic/precise touches (like 70/80 durability macros muscle memory is far superior).

Also, for 2-Stars specifically, Muscle Memory gives 473 Progress for 6 CP and 10 Durability while Maker's Mark gives a potential 15 Flawless Synthesis that are Durability and CP free which can give you up to 600 Progress total, assuming nothing but Flawless Synthesis is used and all of them succeed, for 20 CP and 0 Durability. Up to 3 stacks can be used for other skills or a failed Flawless Synthesis and you would still gain 480 Progress which is also higher than Muscle Memory.

On top of this, should a Good come up immediately after Muscle Memory, using Tricks of the Trade would only restore 6 CP since that's all that has been used so far, while a Good directly after Maker's Mark would refresh the 20 CP you just used. In this case, using less CP is actually a hindrance rather than a benefit.

It's a good thing RNG is so good to me XD

Maker's Mark + FS >>> MusMem in almost any case, with the exception that it cost 1 extra cross class slot.
When Cross Class is not an issue, always go MaMa+FS. ^^

Dont try it yet! This rotation is not optimized yet! It has potentials advantages but I think it still needs more work!

More importantly, is that it represents more ways of crafting 2 star items. It is important for us to keep thinking, and explore new ways to craft!

Yes, and using MaMa for macro is a pain as well comparing to MusMem since MaMa eats up nearly all the lines in a macro! Lol!

Heres a 2 star crafting macro you can try:






Pray to RNGesus before and after every craft. Sacrifice a few Dodo Birds to the Ram god of Norbiscraftafewbits and hope that your prayers have been heard. And don't forget to leave a few pieces of gil as an offering at every harvest node you visit for that day so that RNGesus blesses you with the gift of HQness.:confused:

most times its 50/50... sometimes times its 100% chance HQ... other times I feel like im being t-bagged by RNGesus....:p
