I really don't understand what the problem with people is. All OP is suggesting is that an ability that can't be used when in tank stance be able to get them out of it when they use it.

It can be hard if it's mounted and the buttons are behind it. Then it can go very badly too..next thing you know the 70 inch TV falls, cat is crushed and your girlfriend takes after Jodi Arias and the next shower will be your last.
90% of the suggestions aren't. This isn't a huge request, at the same time it is something that can be resolved by a macro. I take off Grit when I want to use Blood Weapon but for me it's so natural that it is faster for me to do it manually. Others I can see it being a QoL thing if they can't hit the buttons fast enough or their timing is off. It might not be so hard for them to implement just like it's not so hard for the average bear to do it manually or set it up in a way where it's a bit more seamless. If they do it then at least I can remove another macro from my list and voice command.
It already doesn't take the GCD to turn Grit off and it doesn't really delay it either thanks to skill-queueing. It's just an extra button to press at a precise timing in order to get out of tanking stance without altering your GCD and having BW cancel it would just be QoL thing.
I think the main issue with this would be accidentally hitting blood weapon while in grit. You'd turn off your tanking stance potentially right before a tank buster and it could get you killed, the potential for death with this isn't worth the quality of life improvement of not having to turn grit off manually in my opinion.
