Hello there! Thanks for replying to my thread, just had some questions. Thought I should ask both here and on my thread for greater visibility. Anyways, I am just curious if raid times are negotiable, because due to Daylight savings, a finish time of 10pm in GMT +7 leaves me a finish of 2am. 2am is fine, but can be rough, it is dependant on my university schedule mostly, so just curious if things can be arranged. Looking forward to your response.
Hi Sirion,
thanks for your interest!
Unfortunately, I think raid time is hardly flexible (maybe by 30 min, even not sure) :/
A member cannot make it before 7:00 PM GMT+7, and we cannot shorten raid time less than 2 hours/session if we want to progress (we actually already shortened it, we were doing 3 hours/session before). I know it makes time a bit hard for GMT+10 and more people, but no choice (our previous previous bard was a Kiwi and left because of late time for him).
Fayth.
Alright, thanks for the notice. I will still consider this as a very viable option, the only issue currently is the late nights affecting my university schedule. However, I should make it clear that Uni finishes for the year in just 3 more weeks, so then the problem is largely reduced. Although a 30 minute shift forward would still be appreciated if it is possible, but no harm done if not, it's not very realistic to join and have everyone else cater to my timezone purely for my own convenience. I will think on this and consider all my options once I have made the transfer, so hang tight, I'll have a definitive answer for you soon! :D
Hi there,
you are welcome. We have to discuss internally to see how we can proceed (see with people if they can adjust slightly their schedule etc...)
In any case, I guess you can transfert yes (yon can then enjoy the JP datacerter, with a definitly better DF than the Eu one :D), we can then discuss in game, maybe more convenient :)
